i had to euthanize the Christmas tree tonight. it is now out on the curb. had to take it down since tomorrow is the last time the city will collect it....boo. it was still looking well, smelled nice, and not really shedding needles....just seems like such a shame. if it was up to me, the tree would stay up until i absolutely had to get rid of it, ie, when it looks like the charlie brown Christmas tree. maybe we can have a new tradition of decorating trees for valentine's day...2 for 1 deal is good for the environment, no?

i chopped my hair off today. nothing says change like a new haircut. i literally snipped off a good 10 inches of hair! i think the last time i had short hair was more than 10 years ago. well, it's hair, so it'll grow, but i'm rather liking this new do. it'll take some getting used to, especially in the shower....ahh, but think of all the shampoo i'll be saving now!
